When OMP's original owners founded the company, they had the intent to manufacture racing products that would keep them safe and give an edge over fellow competitors. At the time, Jackie Stewart was on his way to his third Formula one Championship with Elf Team Tyrrell, headed by team principal Ken Tyrrell. Forty-five years later Lewis Hamilton wins the 2017 F1 Championship driving the Mercedes AMG of which OMP Racing is the Official Team Supplier.
