Disclaimers:

• Seats come in many different shapes and sizes, so not all seats will fit in all vehicles. It is up to the end user to determine if the seat will fit before ordering the seat bracket and other components.
• Many vehicles have the steering wheel offset toward the center of the vehicle. This can be accentuated when installing an aftermarket seat of a different size than the factory seat.
• Replacing a factory seat with an aftermarket seat may cause the vehicle's warning indicators to activate. This can be due to airbag, weight and/or other sensors in the factory seat that are not included in an aftermarket seat. It may be possible to eliminate these indicators with an electronic resistor, but it is up to the end user to determine if a resistor will work and which resistor to use.
• Professional installation is recommended.

A built 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser can cover terrain the factory seat was never designed for. Whether it's a trail rig, a prerunner or an overland build, a proper aftermarket seat reduces fatigue and keeps you in place over rough ground. It needs a mount that won't flex or loosen. This is the high-mount version, which sits taller than Planted's low-mount bracket for this car. It suits drivers who want better sightlines, or a seat height closer to the factory position.

Each Planted application is built against the real floor of the car, so the bracket picks up the factory mounting points without cutting, shimming or welding. It's laser-cut 3/16" steel, hand-welded in the USA and powder-coated black, and it passes three quality-control checks.

The mounting surface accepts sliders from Recaro, Sparco, OMP, Cobra, Corbeau, Sabelt, Racetech, Status Racing and more. It's the Standard bolt pattern, so the Recaro pattern is included, while wide Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders need one hole per slider elongated by 1/8". Bride sliders usually need their feet removed and a new pattern drilled. Spare material also allows direct mounting without sliders.

This is the passenger/right bracket, sold individually. The driver side is SB022.1DR. Confirm your seat's dimensions against the cabin before ordering. Removing the factory seat can trigger airbag or occupancy warning lights, which may need a resistor. Professional installation is recommended.
