If your team runs driver swaps, shared cars, or has rotating co-drivers with meaningfully different seating positions, the Copse Apex solves the sub-strap adjustment problem cleanly. Where the standard Copse uses fixed-length anti-submarine belts — a deliberate choice for teams that prioritize simplicity and weight — the Apex adds a sleek, latch-integrated quick-adjuster on the sub-belt, letting drivers dial in their fit without fighting hardware or wasting time in the pits.
The rest of the harness carries over everything that made the original Copse a strong endurance choice. The pull-down lap belt uses Lifeline's camlock buckle — machined from aerospace-grade aluminum — which auto-returns to the ready-to-latch position after release, so your co-driver isn't fumbling with a buckle that's pointing the wrong direction under pressure. Lightweight spring-loaded aluminum adjusters on the shoulder and lap straps tighten quickly and hold position under load. High-contrast pull loops at the belt ends are there specifically for gloved hands in a hurry.
Standard shoulder webbing is 2" (50mm), sized for HANS/FHR use. Belt ends on shoulders, lap, and sub straps are all loose for a clean, fitted installation. Velcro loops for comm cables and drink tubes are already built in. Hardware for both snap-in and bolt-in mounting is included in the box.
