Halon quickly penetrates areas that typical powder or liquid agents have difficulty reaching, and leaves no residue. Typically used for protection of sensitive electronics, tapes, and film, Halon is especially well suited for automotive engines.

The Amerex 2.5 lb Halon fire extinguisher includes a 2-Strap Mounting bracket. This mounting bracket will fit the Brey-Krause brand of in-car fire extinguisher mounts featured in this catalog. Holes in the bracket permit easy mounting with bolts or screws.
